In an interview with LBCI, Kataeb Lawmaker Elias Hankach noted that there is no problem in engaging in dialogue if there is genuine intent, questioning whether Hezbollah truly wants a president or not.
"If Hezbollah genuinely wants to elect a president, there needs to be some flexibility by relinquishing its candidate and thus moving towards a third option; otherwise, there is no need for dialogue," Hankach emphasized.
Hankach stated that dialogue requires guarantees for election sessions to be open to prevent the loss of quorum.
