Justice Minister Orders Legal Action Over Armed Parade in Beirut

Justice Minister Adel Nassar said Saturday that he had contacted the Public Prosecutor at the Court of Cassation, requesting immediate legal action against those involved in a recent armed display in the streets of Beirut.

The incident, which drew widespread condemnation, took place during a religious procession in the capital, where several individuals were seen openly carrying weapons.

According to Nassar, Judge Jamal Hajjar later reached out to confirm that judicial procedures had already begun, and summonses had been issued for those implicated in the case.
