Aoun and Kuwaiti Leaders Discuss Strengthening Relations and Easing Entry for Lebanese Citizens

Kuwait’s Emir, Sheikh Mishal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, and Lebanese President Joseph Aoun met on Monday at the Amiri Diwan, where the Emir reaffirmed his country's commitment to supporting Lebanon. The Emir highlighted the importance of strengthening the relationship between Kuwait and Lebanon.

According to a statement issued by the Lebanese Presidency, President Aoun expressed his gratitude to the Emir for the continued support Kuwait has provided to Lebanon, as well as for the hospitality extended to Lebanese citizens residing in Kuwait. The President acknowledged the deep bond between the two nations and thanked Kuwait for its solidarity with Lebanon in difficult times.

During the meeting, President Aoun also extended an official invitation to the Emir to visit Lebanon, expressing hope for continued collaboration between the two countries.

In a separate discussion, President Aoun met with Kuwait's Acting Prime Minister, Fahad Yusuf Saud Al-Sabah, who reaffirmed Kuwait’s ongoing assistance to Lebanon. The Prime Minister emphasized that Kuwait remains ready to meet Lebanon’s needs for support and highlighted the agreement to ease the entry process for Lebanese citizens into Kuwait, as well as the return of Kuwaiti nationals to Lebanon.
