Army command announced few days ago that on 24/4/2023 armed individuals claiming to be security officials kidnapped Iraqi citizen Bader Dafar Sayer from inside a residential apartment in Jounieh and then asked for a big ransom.

It added that the intelligence directorate was able to release the kidnapped Iraqi on 23/4/2023 in the Sherwani region.

The perpetrators of the operation are still being pursued.
