Derian Intervenes to Resolve Dispute Between Mawlawi and Othman
Member of the Supreme Islamic Sharia Council Sheikh Fayez Saif posted on his Facebook page:
"His Eminence, the Grand Mufti of the Republic, Sheikh Abdel Latif Derian, intervened in the dispute between Interior Minister Bassam Mawlawi and General Imad Othman. His Eminence managed to find a solution to the ongoing dispute. It is expected that Mawlawi will visit Derian on Monday morning, and afterward, Othman will visit him. Efforts are underway to hold a final meeting between the two parties under the sponsorship of His Eminence, Mufti Derian."
