Lebanese Kataeb Party leader Samy Gemayel visited the municipality of Jdeideh–Bouchrieh–Sed, where he emphasized the importance of strengthening municipal governance and advancing development projects aimed at improving services for residents.

Gemayel was welcomed by Mayor Auguste Bakhos, members of the municipal council, local mukhtars, and the president and board members of the municipality’s sports complex.

During the meeting, Gemayel underscored the role municipalities play in serving citizens, particularly amid the challenges facing Lebanon. He stressed the need for local authorities to continue fulfilling their responsibilities toward residents and to enhance municipal performance through development initiatives that address community needs and contribute to improving public services.

Gemayel also highlighted the importance of activating and expanding development projects that can help meet the expectations of residents and strengthen the municipality’s ability to respond to local priorities.

The visit was also attended by Michel Hraoui, head of the Kataeb Party’s Northern Metn district, along with local party officials from the area.

Following the meeting, he toured the municipality’s offices and departments, where he was briefed on administrative operations and the services provided to residents.

The Kataeb leader praised the efforts of the municipal administration and staff, commending their work in serving the local community and managing municipal affairs.
