Kataeb Leader Samy Gemayel considered that Hezbollah's military maneuver in the south carries a message of defiance for the Lebanese people and for the Arab summit , saying that it is an example of the country that awaits us if Hezbollah takes control over the country.

"Do you accept the dual weapons, military maneuvers, and the control over state's decision in your countries?" Gemayel said addressing the Arab and international community.

“We will not submit to the power of weapons, nor will we employ our land and our youth in foreign service,” he pointed out.
