Hankach: If a Lebanese Threatens Their Own Country, Imagine What an Enemy Would Do

MP Elias Hankach on Friday responded to remarks by Hezbollah Secretary-General Naim Qassem, questioning the implications of threats directed at Lebanon’s government and citizens.

Qassem had said, “There will be no ‘life’ in Lebanon if the government tries to confront Hezbollah. Either Lebanon survives and we remain together, or peace be upon this world — and you will bear the responsibility.”

In response, Hankach posted on X: "If a Lebanese citizen threatens the lives of his entire people, his legitimate State, and his own country, imagine what an enemy would do.”
