Hochstein to Meet Le Drian in Paris on Wednesday
U.S. mediator Amos Hochstein will meet Wednesday in Paris with Jean-Yves Le Drian, the French President's Special Envoy to Lebanon, Annahar newspaper reported on Monday.
The visit is aimed at "putting the French side in the picture of the contacts that Hochstein held in Tel Aviv and Beirut in order to prevent an expansion of the Gaza war to Lebanon," the daily said.
According to MTV, Hochstein is already in the French capital on a “family vacation.”
Media reports meanwhile said that the two men will discuss the Lebanese presidential file and the Israel-Hezbollah conflict.
