Israeli Army Destroys Syrian Naval Fleet in Wake of Regime Collapse

The Israeli Navy conducted a large-scale operation on Monday night to neutralize the remnants of the Syrian naval fleet, following the collapse of the Assad regime, Israeli media reported.

According to military sources, Israeli Navy missile boats targeted and destroyed multiple Syrian navy vessels armed with sea-to-sea missiles. The strikes occurred at Minet el-Beida Bay and the Latakia port along Syria's Mediterranean coast.

This decisive action was reportedly aimed at preventing the Syrian navy's advanced weaponry and capabilities from falling into the hands of hostile entities.

Since the regime's collapse, the Israeli Air Force has intensified its activities in Syria, carrying out approximately 300 airstrikes. These missions have reportedly focused on destroying advanced weapons systems and other assets that could potentially empower hostile forces.

Israeli officials have repeatedly emphasized the necessity of such measures to maintain regional security and prevent the proliferation of sophisticated weaponry in the hands of groups that pose a threat to Israel.
