On the occasion of the 41st anniversary of President Martyr Bachir Gemayel’s assasination, Kataeb Leader Samy Gemayel, wrote "X" platform: "They assassinated Bachir, thinking they were killing the republic. They underestimated our resilience which is stronger than their treachery. Lebanon houses a living, steadfast people who refuse to yield to injustice.".
"Each September 14th, we reaffirm our commitment to Bachir. We do not fear martyrdom, nor shall we remain silent in the face of injustice and the pursuit of truth. Lebanon will endure and triumph," he noted.
