Kataeb’s Keserwan-Ftouh Chapter Condemns Ghazir Crime, Demands Swift Justice

The Keserwan-Ftouh chapter of the Kataeb Party strongly condemned the heinous crime that took place in the Ghazir–Maameltein area, which claimed the lives of a married couple from the Thoumy family.

A man and his wife were found murdered in their home in the Maameltein area of Ghazir early on Thursday, in what is suspected to be a robbery.

In a statement issued later in the day, the Kataeb chapter considered this cowardly act a serious assault on public safety and called for immediate action from the relevant security agencies.

Accordingly, the Kataeb chapter urged the security forces to launch a swift and thorough investigation to uncover the full circumstances surrounding the crime, identify the perpetrators, and arrest them without delay, in order to bring them before the judiciary and ensure that the harshest possible penalties are imposed.

The statement also called on citizens to cooperate with official authorities and to provide any information that could help expedite the investigation and lead to the apprehension of those responsible.

Finally, the Kataeb chapter extended heartfelt condolences to the victims’ families,  praying that "God protects our country and our society from all harm."
