Kataeb's Koura Chapter Chief: Elections Are About State Presence and Development

Salma Ghosn Challita, head of the Kataeb Party's Koura district chapter, said that the current electoral atmosphere is relatively positive, with voter turnout expected to rise, particularly in the afternoon hours.

She highlighted that the Kataeb Party’s electoral machinery is running smoothly and efficiently.

"We’re seeing strong engagement from citizens who have recognized the party’s commitment to municipal work and its dedication to developmental initiatives," she said.

Challita outlined the principles guiding the Kataeb Party’s support for the electoral lists in Koura, stressing the importance of competence and unity in fostering effective local governance.

"We are guided by two key principles in supporting these lists: competence and dedication to the state-building project," she said. "We are also working in a spirit of national partnership with other sovereign forces in the district that share a commitment to fundamental national values."

"Today’s battle is not merely electoral; it is about reinforcing the presence of the state and its institutions," she concluded.
