The Lebanese Army successfully thwarted the attempt of approximately 800 Syrians to cross the Lebanese-Syrian border over the past week, in an effort to combat illegal border crossings and smuggling.

The Lebanese Army continues to monitor Syrian refugees’ movements and their internal displacement within Lebanon.
