Lebanese security agencies have identified the individuals who took part in an armed parade during an Ashura procession in Beirut’s Zqaq al-Blat neighborhood, according to information obtained by LBCI on Saturday.

The armed display sparked public outrage and drew condemnation from political leaders, including Prime Minister Nawaf Salam, who called the scenes “entirely unacceptable.”

According to LBCI, the security services, operating under the supervision of the judiciary, have summoned the individuals involved. Authorities said further legal measures will be determined based on the evolving circumstances of the case.
