A ship carrying 24,000 tons of wheat is expected to dock at the Port of Beirut, according to the Central News Agency.
This shipment is part of efforts to meet Lebanon’s annual consumption needs, which are estimated at 600,000 tons.
Sources within the bread production sector have indicated that the current supply of flour is sufficient to cover the country’s needs for at least two more months. This shipment will help maintain stability in the supply of wheat, a critical staple in Lebanon, amid ongoing economic challenges.
