Kataeb's Students and Youth Department on Wednesday called on all the Lebanese students not to comply with the government’s decisions to open schools, universities and resume classes, given that it is an attempt to pull out youths off the streets.

“Students’ outrage is unlike any other; let alone if they were students keen on their future in Lebanon and to safeguard it?” the statement wrote.

The Youth department declared its steadfast presence on the streets until the state adheres to all their demands: government’s resignation, formation of a neutral government of specialists and holding early Parliamentary elections.
