A Lebanese Forces delegation on Wednesday visited Kataeb leader Samy Gemayel at his office in Bickfaya in an attempt to convince the party’s lawmakers to retract their resignation.
“We have made the right step by resigning from the Parliament,” Gemayel said during the meeting.
“There is no compromise with this system now that the government’s has fallen,” he added.
