Sayegh: How Does a Refugee Vote for a Regime He Escaped?

Kataeb party’s Deputy President Selim Sayegh on Thursday lambasted the Syrian voting process that took place earlier today at the Syrian Embassy in Yarzeh, saying that neither the Haifa road nor the Damascus road passes by Jounieh.

“If the refugee wants to practice the “Taqiyya” with the system, then let him practice it without any unacceptable show,” Sayegh wrote on Twitter.

“How does a refugee vote for a regime he escaped?” he asked.

“At this point, the international law strips the refugee the asylum status and the United Nations has to review the policy of subsidies,” he said.
