Grand Mufti of the Lebanese Republic, Sheikh Abdul Latif Derian, on Tuesday welcomed at Dar Al-Fatwa, Head of National Dialogue Party, MP Fouad Makhzoumi.

"We agreed with Grand Mufti of the Lebanese Republic Sheikh Abdul Latif Derian to establish a health support fund for the Beirut area. We will start working on this fund, in order to stand by our people," Makhzoumi said from Dar al-Fatwa.

"There is hope for this country, it is ours and we will not give up on it. We have not seen any plan to return the depositors' money," he noted.

He considered the extension of Army Commander's term as an important step.

"What is the government doing to support our people economically and livingly?" he asked.
