Caretaker Prime Minister Najib Mikati met with U.S. Major General Jasper Jeffers, Co-Chair of the Ceasefire Implementation and Monitoring Mechanism, at the Grand Serail. 

During the meeting, Mikati emphasized the importance of full adherence to the ceasefire, preventing security breaches, and ensuring the withdrawal of Israeli forces from the occupied Lebanese territories.

The talks were also attended by U.S. Ambassador to Lebanon, Lisa Johnson.
