Opposition MPs Begin Coordination for Presidential Election Process

The 31 opposition MPs are set to convene today at the headquarters of the Lebanese Forces party in Maarab at 12:30 PM, marking the start of coordination efforts regarding the presidential elections process.

"An-Nahar" newspaper has learned that the meeting aims to ease tensions following the last gathering in Maarab, which was followed by a noticeable cooling in relations from the Lebanese Forces' side toward those who either did not attend or were underrepresented at the event.

Additionally, it has been reported that, beyond a serious discussion of the presidential file, the participants will propose holding a comprehensive national meeting to support this critical phase. This meeting is intended to take place in a neutral venue that reflects the diverse composition of the opposition, avoiding association with any single group.
