Rebels Storm Iran’s Embassy as Damascus Falls from Regime Control

Syrian rebels stormed the Iranian embassy in Damascus following their seizure of the Syrian capital, according to a report by Iran’s English-language Press TV

Footage circulating on social media shows a crowd defacing a banner that bore images of prominent figures linked to Iran’s regional strategy: Hassan Nasrallah, the leader of Hezbollah, and Qassem Soleimani, the former commander of Iran's Quds Force, who was killed in a U.S. airstrike in 2020.
