Hezbollah has drawn up a plan to deploy its armed units across several parts of Lebanon, including Beirut, the Bekaa Valley and areas north of the capital, with orders to kidnap ministers who backed referring a case to the Judicial Council and target security forces if they attempt to intervene, according to information reported by Nidaa al-Watan.
The newspaper said the plan was drawn up after Hezbollah concluded that the State had decided to move forward with the judicial process, which could begin with the summoning of several of the group's lawmakers and security officials for questioning.
Under the reported plan, Hezbollah would deploy its armed elements from Sidon to Beirut, as well as across the eastern and western Bekaa Valley and the Metn and Keserwan districts.
The operation's stated objective, according to the report, would be to abduct ministers who voted in favor of referring the case to the Judicial Council, taking them from their homes or places of residence.
The plan also reportedly includes explicit orders to target the Lebanese army and security forces without hesitation if either attempts to stop Hezbollah operatives.
