Pope Leo XIV visited Lebanon this week, the third visit by a supreme pontiff to the country since John Paul II in 1997 and Benedict in 2012 (Pope Paul VI stopped very briefly in 1964, on his way to India). The fact that Lebanon is the site of the Pope’s first foreign visit (with Turkey) is significant. The country holds the highest percentage of Christians in the Arab world.

Roberto Mancini Leaves Saudi Arabia National Team After Termination of Contract
Saudi Arabian Football Federation (SAFF) has announced that it has terminated its contract with Italian coach Roberto Mancini after reaching a mutual agreement to end their partnership.
The board of directors confirmed that the name of a new coach will be announced in the coming few days.
The Italian coach was hired by Saudi Arabia in August 2023 after managing Inter Milan and Manchester City.
Under the management of Mancini, the Saudi national team played 18 matches, winning seven, drawing five, and losing six.
