Kataeb lawmaker Selim Sayegh said that his party supported the nomination of Nawaf Salam as a new, independent, and transparent candidate who is not involved in the internal political game.
“We call on all blocs to circumvent a new name instead of holding on to the same players and pretending to aim for the system’s change,” Sayegh said in an interview with MTV.
