Trump: We're With Lebanon All the Way

U.S. President Donald Trump reaffirmed Washington’s commitment to Lebanon during a press conference on Friday, describing the country as a place with "brilliant people" and expressing hope for its recovery following years of instability and conflict.

“Lebanon is a great place with brilliant people and hopefully we can bring it back again,” Trump said. “It’s a country known for its teachers and one that has an incredible history. We hope to bring it back to what it once was.”

"We're with Lebanon all the way," he assured.

Asked about whether the United States had a specific timeline for disarming Hezbollah, Trump suggested his administration would work to "restore order in Beirut."
