Social media platform X is back online for most users globally following an hour-long outage on Thursday.
Users of X, formerly known as Twitter, were reporting issues accessing content on the site early on Thursday.
Timelines on the platform were empty and no new posts were visible. Users were able to post content to the twitter.com site.
Monitoring platform Downdetector showed nearly 70,000 reports of outage over an hour. Many users in the UAE were impacted.
Both X and X Pro, formerly Tweetdeck, subscribers were affected by the outage.
The cause of the outage is not yet known. Elon Musk-owned X has not released a statement.
